My father Umberto Bordonaro passed away on January 28, 2020 after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. His biggest joy was to train, and learn the craft of prop making. If you ever had a chance to walk into the Furniture Repair Dept at Warner Bros., you might have seen my dad building the benches that were used in The Bridges of Madison County (1995) courthouse scenes, or Penguin's umbrella case in Batman Returns (1992). He chose not to be credited in nearly all the projects he worked on, because he believed he was always part of a group of people that made a team. And it was the team that was successful, not one individual person. Umberto will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services are as follows:
Please spread the word. :)
When: My Dad's funeral services will be on Monday, Feb 3 at 12:30pm sharp.
It will be a 1 hour memorial, followed by internment at an on-site wall crypt.
Where: The location will be at Forest Lawn Hollywood
(adjacent to Burbank near Warner Bros Studios).
6300 Forest Lawn Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90068

As you enter Forest Lawn on Memorial Drive, turn left on Evergreen Dr. (Blue Line), and head to Church Of The Hills for the service. You can park anywhere in yellow areas as shown in the photo.

My dad was very particular about a couple things:

He doesn't want anyone to wear black. Dress as colorful as you like.
In liu of flowers, he would rather you donate to any of the many Cancer Foundations (especially Pancreatic), or your favorite charity.
We understand if you can't make it.
Regardless, our family really appreciates all your love and support. ❤️❤️
