I write this as a tribute to Jeffrey Lee Young, who was born on March 15th of 1964 and passed away on April 11th of 2020. Known by his coworkers as Chicago, Jeff was a hardworking man. He loved to make jokes and liven the mood. Outside of work he was a good friend, a father, and husband. He was always there for his friends when they needed him. He was always there to support his family who he loved very much. Jeff had a good heart and cared for others. In the 56 years he spent with us, he lived a social life and always enjoyed going out, interacting with others and trying to learn others language. He enjoyed singing karaoke with others and grew fond of music. In the few months before his passing he grew quite fond of playing the ukulele. Music was his final hobby. Throughout his life he found many things to take joy in. Nature was one of Jeff's favorite things. He would frequently hike in the mountains and visit public parks. He loved animals and all of nature's blessings and now he can be one with the environment he admires so much. May his soul fly free and experience the world just as much as he did in life, for he is with God now.
Jeff was a Propmaker's Propmaker, a master craftsman , who took pride in his work. The 12 hour work days were made mush easier with Jeff's great sense of humor and good energy. All of us who worked with Chicago feel privileged to have worked along side such a good man. We are confident that Jeff will have no problem getting his "30 days" in Heaven.
