MAY 10TH 1939 - SEPTEMBER 14TH 2021

Rochelle Gretal Moser/Rothman, age 82, of Henderson Nevada passed away on Tuesday September 14th 2021. Rochelle was born May 10th, 1939 in New York. She spent her childhood playing, creating and using her imagination to the fullest. One of her fondest memories was going to Connecticut to her aunt and uncle's Farm. She said she even milked a cow!

Before her 10th birthday her family moved to Southern California where she welcomed into her life her little brother Milton, whom she adored. Yes, they had the typical sibling disagreements, but I believe they ALWAYS had each other's back. Growing up in in the Hollywood area Rochelle had bigger dreams, and that was to be part of the movie industry. She could feel it with a passion. She loved the camera and the camera loved her. Rochelle was shy, innocent, sweet, and beautiful inside and out.

By the time she was 16, she met Paul Moser in Van Nuys California, where he was stationed at the Army base. They eloped and got married. Paul was soon detailed to Venice Italy, and she lived with his family in New York until their daughter was born. Once their daughter was 8 weeks old and able to fly, she and Ricky joined him in Italy where she learned to be a mom and speak Italian. While stationed in Europe she visited faraway places like Morocco and Switzerland.

Upon returning to the US, she and her family made their home in Southern California. While raising their daughter, Rochelle loved going to garage sales, buying and selling artful and interesting items. She would wallpaper, paint, knock out walls, take down trees. Paul never knew what he would come home to.

In Rochelle's early 30's she learned to drive and got a job at Universal Studios. She worked in the gift shops, gave tours and hung out at the commissary to meet all the right people to get a job on the back lot. And with persistence, determination and a lot of hard work, she became the first female to receive her union card for design. During these years Rochelle and Paul had a good 25 year marriage.

Rochelle's career was colorful, filled with hard work, movie stars and glamor. In 1981 she met her significant other Tony Laron who was her studio driver, whom she shared her life until the end. In 1995 Rochelle's career was highly recognized by receiving an "Emmy" award for "Best Set Décor" for the "Cybil" tv series. In 2000 she retired and moved to Idaho. Palm Desert, Temecula, Texas, and finally Las Vegas.

Rochelle enjoyed antiquing, collecting, and repurposing unique items. Anyone that knew her, knew her home was like a well-designed museum, every item had a place and a story. She loved photos; she had a wall of fame in here hall where she proudly shared here career. Every nook, table and shelf held photos of family and friends. She was a gift giver, to all she encountered. She loved children, music, silly dancing and vanilla Frappuccino's. She didn't like high places, swimming or the great outdoors.

She will be missed for her kind words, warm heart, silly antics and great hugs…

Rochelle was proceeded in death by her father. She is survived by her 106-year-old mother Betty Brodleit, and Brother Milton Brodleit. Her daughter Ricky de la Garrigue (Joe), two grandsons, Jeffrey (Mary) and Joseph (Mayuko) Luff. Three great grandchildren, Krista(21), Mabry (14) and Jalen Luff (12). Her niece, Stacy Calderon, and nephew Josh Brodleit.
