THE GRAND POOBAH, AL Di SARRO. has passed away, suddenly, at home in bed.
He was a 2nd father to me for 28 years of my life and my father in law. He loved his family, his wife, his son, his son's wife, his baby grand daughter, his brother, and his daughter was his "light" he loved her so much. And we all loved him. The world won't be the same without him.
I have spoken to his son, my brother-in-heart, and the early plan is a private ceremony at his beloved Ventura Beach House for the family only. Then a Celebration of Al's life will be announced later, tentatively planned for about a month away.
1/14- the Family says thank you for your phone calls and concerns and condolences. The phone calls are so many it's not possible to return all the calls at this point. But thank you, we know you loved him too.

Al Di Sarro's Memorial will be on Sunday, February 13th at 1:30pm.
The location is at Stage 6 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Enter at Gate 3 off of Lankershim Blvd
(Approximate gate address is- 4056 Lankershim Blvd in Studio City, California.)
(look for the Technicolor Gate just south of Lankershim and Cahuenga Blvd)
Casual Dress, Please! (that's how Aldo would want it!)
There is a guard shack at this gate. You will be directed to park in the parking structure and pass through a metal detector, (lot security protocol), - so please no pocket knives, etc...
