

Rick passed away unexpectedly at home on April 20, 2015 at the age of 56. The third of four children, Rick was born July 14, 1958 in Glendale, California to Danny and Tina Martin
Rick is survived by his wife Lisa Martin, daughter Jessica Martin, son Ryan Martin, son-in-law Jeff Harper, three grandchildren; Kyle, Kaylee and Dylan, his father Danny Martin, his mother Tina White, two sisters; Linda Downing, Valerie Blankenship and his brother Anthony Martin. He is also survived by his Aunt Julie Martin, several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families and many good friends. Rick (Ricky) was an incredible man, the best husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend any one could ask for. He loved life and had a smile you could never forget. His wife, kids and grandchildren meant the world to him; he loves them with the greatest love of all. He loves his family and friends and would do anything he could to help anyone he knew.
Rick worked as a General Contractor and a Propmaker Foreman in the Motion Picture Industry. He loved building movie sets and new homes. He was a master craftsman. He worked on movies such as Batman Returns, Batman and Robin, Pearl Harbor, Men in Black II, Armageddon, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, Inspector Gadget, Wyatt Earp, Collateral Damage, Terminator 3 and many more.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Rick on June 6, 2015 at 3:00pm at his home located at 12920 Silver Wolf Road in Reno, Nevada 89511. The celebration will be very casual, jeans, shorts, sandals, etc. exactly how Rick would want. Please no flowers.
