Michael LeRoy Wood, 76, of Theodosia, died Dec. 25, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Memorial services will be private.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1940, in Glendale, California, the son of Jess and Virginia Cabe McKenney.  On Aug. 26, 1961, in Pacomia, California, he married Syhttps://local44.org/member-homects for movies.  He had lived in Theodosia since 1998, after moving from California.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he loved hot-rod cars.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Wood, of Theodosia; his son, Brian Wood and wife Sandy of Theodosia; his daughter, Michele Clerke and husband David of Protem; grandchildren Delaney Ross, Jacob Ross, Michael Clerke, Alyssa Wood and Haley Wood; one great-grandchild, Zander Zubrod; one sister, Shirley Minnick and husband Bob Minnick of Willow Springs; and one brother, David Wood and wife Susan of Alaska.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his stepfather, Max Wood.
