Classification:John Hollis was 95 years old when he passed away Friday, February 10, 2017.  He is survived by his wife of 75 years, 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He retired 30 years ago after many years as a construction coordinator for motion pictures and television.  During his early retirement years he enjoyed cross-country trips with his wife in their motorhome.  He loved to fish and spent weeks camping near Lake Crowley and fishing on the lake with good friends.

Services will be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, 90068, on Tuesday, February 21 at 12:30 p.m. at the Church of the Hills.
