Michael John Smith

Michael Smith, known to friends as "Mike" passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017, after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer.

Mike started as an apprentice in the movie industry when he was just 18 years old. He continued to work hard for many years and achieved his dream of becoming a construction coordinator. He worked on many shows as well as films. Some people work to live, Mike lived to work.

Mike enjoyed attending every Los Angeles Kings home game, off-roading in his jeep, watching and playing golf and spending as much as possible with his family.

He is loved and survived by his wife, Marilyn, his son Jay, his daughter Lauren, his daughter-in-law Amanda and grandson.
