Other information:
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (“IRCA”) requires employers to verify the identity and United States employment eligibility of all employees hired to work in the United States.
Contract Services Administration Trust Fund (“CSATF”), as a service to participating Industry employers, collects and maintains required I-9 documentation for all individuals listed on the Industry Experience Roster (the “Roster”). Many Industry employers can rely on CSATF to complete the employment verification process. This information is now available online for you and employers to check at www.csatf.org.
The law provides that your CSATF Form I-9 can be valid for a maximum of three years. Failure to keep your Roster I-9 status current could adversely affect your employment in the motion picture and television industry. Please remember, the law requires that you present original, unexpired documents when completing your Form I-9. For your convenience, the reverse side of the Form I-9 includes the instructions and list of acceptable I-9 documents.
To complete a new Form I-9, you have the following options:
· In person: Bring acceptable I-9 documents to CSATF’s new location at 2800 Winona Avenue, Burbank, CA 91504. Lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. Appointments are not necessary.
· By mail: Contact me by e-mail at I_9@csatf.org or by telephone at 818.565.0550, extension 1130 to request a notary kit.

As presented to IATSE Delegations at 66th Quadrennial Convention held on July 27 through 31, 2009
On February 25, 2009, Local 44 President Erin Hennessey filed, with the Local, internal charges against former Local 44 Secretary-Treasurer Elliot Jennings. At an Executive Board meeting held on March 11, 2009, the first reading of these charges was performed and, as the charges met all procedural requirements, cognizance was taken.
In his charges, Brother Hennessey, alleges that Jennings violated several provisions of Local 44's Constitution and By-Laws. The trial will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 6:30 PM at Local 44 in the upstairs Assembly Room.

Records toppled at the 60th annual Primetime Emmys Sunday as period pieces "Mad Men" and "John Adams" made history and a pair of series extended dominance within their categories to an unprecedented six consecutive years.
Already a ground-breaker thanks merely to its nomination, "Mad Men" became the first basic cable series ever — and for that matter, non-HBO cable series — named best drama or comedy.
The show about a 1960s advertising agency added two Sunday wins to its four Creative Arts Emmy wins last weekend, lifting AMC — a network that only entered the scripted production business a few years ago — to eight awards, equaling the overall annual haul for any ad-supported cabler.
