IATSE 2021 Basic Agreement Ratification Vote Timeline

Monday November 8 - Beginning at 6:00am (PST) Honest Ballot sends a test email from vote@honestballot.com to all voting eligible members that we have an email address for.

Friday November 12 - At 6:00am (PST) Honest Ballot opens the online ballot for each Local and sends the ratification vote email to all eligible voters. Voting officially begins.

Sunday November 14 - At 8:59pm (PST) voting ends and the polls close.

Monday November 15 - At 9:00am (PST) Honest Ballot sends the voting results to each Local. Notification of the results will be communicated to the members later that same morning.

Memorandum of Agreement to the 2021 Basic Agreement
In the links below you will find the 2021 Summary of Basic Agreement Negotiations, the 2021 IATSE Basic MOA, a Ledger of Gains, and a comprehensive Win/Loss Spreadsheet. We understand that this is a lot of information but we want everyone to be as informed as possible and have all of the relevant information available. Please take some time over the next few days to review the documents.
Please Note: The IATSE Basic Agreement ratification vote will be conducted electronically only; a hard copy will NOT be mailed to you. The electronic IATSE ratification vote timeline is scheduled as follows:

As Local 44 has been reporting, the current round of Basic Agreement contract negotiations are inspiring conversations about engaging our members for a possible strike vote. The IATSE has informed Local 44 that the strike authorization voting process will be conducted digitally. The easiest way to participate in this vote will be via email.
You are receiving this notification because as of the sending of this letter, you are not currently registered with Local 44’s website with a confirmed, valid email address.
